Allyson Felix

Allyson Melissa Felix was born at Los Angeles, California on the 18th of November, 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordained minister in Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix realized early on that she was gifted to run when she was a student at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Ten weeks after the first trial she took, she was ranked 2nd in the 200m race in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix has graduated from high school in 2003 signed the sports contract with Adidas. She then went to at the University of Southern California and pursued a degree in elementary education. Her first Olympic medal was won at the 2004 Summer Olympics which took place at Athens Greece. Felix set the world junior record by the 200m race in 22.18 seconds. In the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the world's youngest champion in running 200m. The following year, she won her title by beating Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed at the top of the podium across her diverse events during the Olympics which took place in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
