Rena Sofer
Rena Sherel Sofer (born on the 2nd of December, 1968) is an American actress and model, well-known for her appearances in daytime TV, guest appearances, and made-for-television movies. Sofer was recognized with an Daytime Emmy Award in 1995 for her role in the role of Lois Cerullo on the soap opera General Hospital. From 2013 to 2022 she played the character of Quinn Fuller on the CBS soap show The Bold and the Beautiful.
Early life
Sofer was born in Arcadia, California, the daughter of Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau) and a psychology professor and Martin Sofer, an Orthodox Rabbi.
In 1970, she relocated in 1970 to Teaneck, New Jersey with her brother David and her father. But, Sofer lived in Western Pennsylvania as a young person. They were brought up in Ambridge, Pennsylvania by their father, Beth Samuels Jewish Center. She later attended the Frisch School in Paramus, New Jersey, which is coeducational Modern Orthodox Jewish high-school. Sofer was born in North Bergen, New Jersey. Her father was a rabbi of Temple Beth El. She graduated from North Bergen High School, later attending classes at Montclair State College.
Career
Daytime television
Lois Marie Cerullo was Lois Marie Sofer's very first appearance in General Hospital. Her first appearance was in 1993, as a manager for a band. She first appeared in the role of Rocky McKenzie in the 1988-91 daytime soap show Loving.
